Seeking a maintainer!

I created this community many years ago and then, I'm afraid, I forgot about it. *shame* I'm pleased to see it's looking after itself well though!

Would anyone like to become a new maintainer/moderator? It would make sense to have someone who actually posts regularly in charge - it may give you better control of styles and that sort of thing. I'm no longer much on LJ or indeed involved in orchestras any more (final exams have that effect, unfortunately!).

If so, please add a comment and I'll work out how to make you one.

I'll take up the mantle, if no-one else will. I'm only a final year undergrad, and my experience with orchestration is having won an orchestra competition in my college (and had the piece played by the college student orchestra), written a little bit here and there, for, say, class, or my spare time, and having read Adler's orchestration book. Which is to say, not much. Next year, though, I hope to have more time on my hands for learning about orchestration and listening to a lot more orchestra music. Also, I log on to LJ almost every day, so I'll catch trolling and all that. So better than nothing.

Hi there - thanks. Sounds as if you're more than qualified!

I've added you as a maintainer, and removed myself. Enjoy the power! Best of luck.
